*Official* Post Your Tuned Timing Maps

I'm curious as to what you guys are running, tuned at for timing and what not so it's time to make a discussion about your timing maps.

If you have a vendor tuned map, please do not post them here. You can state what you are running but do NOT post a timing map up.

I'll start mine off. The first one is my high octane map and it's not "tuned" as it is a little conservative right now. I'm still working on it. BTW I'm working on 93 octane with around 10.5 AFR to redline @ 13 PSI.

This one is a WOT map tracer just so you guys get an idea where to look.

That looks to be a stock evo timing map based on what ive seen. I have no images of mine on this computer but my peak timing is 14* by 5k and holds that until redline at 8500-9k. Alot of my timing is in the mid range pre boost and during spool up.

It probably is man. I've been smoothing it out and fucking with the tables left and right so I have no idea lol. I haven't really hit any knock with WOT at all so I'll be increasing it a little bit more especially once the FMIC arrives this week. What gas are you using and how many lbs are you pushing?

Im running c16 at about 57 to 62lbs a min of airflow. Since the short block on my car is still stock i limit the things that could cause issues. Even on 93 octane i still run low timing and higher boost. Let the turbo do the work.

Why run "low" timing? I'd figure it would spool like crap if you run low timing or even at peak torque.

Typically you will get more power out of 1 psi increase than 1* increase. The bigger turbo guys will usually run really low timing and a crap ton of boost to get the most out of their setup and I would consider a 62 lb/min capable turbo as getting into the larger framed turbos.

I actually spool pretty quick based on the map i made compared to a stock map. i run a modified stock 2g map. It starts out like the 2g map but where it starts to dip down just goes straight up. so it goes from 2* to 14* by 4300 when i hit full boost. If i had a built bottom end i would run more timing if it is needed.

I'll have to post my new map up sometime soon cause I've been playing with a new tune for my 16g. Occasionally I'll hit knock but I'll probably be able to run more once I put the FMIC on. Haven't had time to chop up my frame to put it on.

there shouldnt be frame chopping unless the upper pipe passes by the radiator/ core support. but get that thing on it will help ALOT.

The VRSF doesn't require chopping up by the radiator support?
