    So much knock

    i just installed dsm link on my dsm. its a 90 tsi awd. im wondering what u guys think about how much knock i got. the motor has just been gone through and everything was ok and put new bearings and rings in it and put it back together. i start getting knock at about 2100 rpm with 2.5 degree reatard adn by the time it makes it up to 2500 rpm its pulling 15 degree. nothing i try has gotten it to stop. ill try to post a log but im not sure how yet. thanks in advance.

    Dude, have you ever tuned before? Your high octane table is completely jacked up. You need to revert to stock settings and go from there. You also need to learn how to tune because you said you messed with it and OBVIOUSLY you don't know what you're doing. You're going to end up blowing your motor. Do some research about tuning before you just punch numbers in.
    Time for another project....

    Quickly looking at the log, it appears that the airflowperrev is off. That would lead me to assume your deadtime might be off?
    I'm not quite sure how you are getting knock from just free revving? Kinda puzzles me as to whether your knock issue is phantom knock or not.

    Also, you probably should put your open loop thresholds back to stock. From what I understand, you only change those to make it easier to do your closed loop tuning. But like I said, I'm pretty sure you should return them to stock afterwards.

    Someone correct me if I am wrong. I haven't tuned for what seems like an eternity, lol.
