It's not something that every DSMer needs to do, but it helped clear a CEL from ever popping up on me.
420a EGR is driver side under the Camshaft Position Sensor.
4g63 i believe is passenger side beneath the intake. Don't quote me though, I could be wrong. I can't look it up either.
When I deleted the EGR from my car I weighed up the pieces and found that I lost 2.2lbs of weight. Doesnt seem like a whole lot, but it all adds up.
Yah, I do like my NA even for being a non-turbo. But mine's the cherry red with tinted windows. So it's pretty sharp, I'll have to get a pic up soon!
EGR block off plate is a nice little boost for turbo users due to colder temps. I wouldn't really worry about it with a N/A car.
Time for another project....
I have a few questions for you. Is this your only mode of transportation? Do you have the funds to do a strong build? Do you have the tools and a facility to do it in? Do you have a lot of spare time? How much knowledge do you have as far as tuning goes?
